Refund policy
RETURN FORM
You may return your order using your preferred shipping method.
We do not provide return labels or reimburse shipping from the original order.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original manufacturer's packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase such as an order number.
All returned items must include the following information if the above return form is not included with the return shipment:
- Name
- E-Mail address
- Order Number
- Reason for return
- If an exchange or refund is preferred.
- If exchange is desired, include the item wanted. An invoice for the difference and shipping charges will be e-mailed prior to shipping the new item(s).

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.
To protect all customers and ensure that every return or exchange is handled fairly, we may require a receipt or decline a return in these situations:
- Item was not purchased directly from Fair Hill Saddlery – we do not accept items purchased from used tack sales, other retailers, or online sellers
- Item is missing a label or has been defaced
- Item is wet, dirty or contaminated.
- On rare occasions, based on the nature of prior transactions including multiple returns of the same item.
- Personalized items may not be returned unless defective.
Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned:
- Perishable goods such as treats, feed, and supplements
- Custom products (such as special orders or personalized items),
- Personal care goods (such as beauty products and under garments), or
- Safety products (such as helmets and safety vests).
Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.
Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on final sale/clearance items or gift cards.
Refunds
We will notify you via e-mail once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
